Nuoya Chen started her internship at ISDP in February, 2016. She graduated from the Erasmus Mundus Master’s Course Economic Policy in the age of Globalisation in 2015. She holds a joint Master’s degree from University of Witwaterand, Johannesburg on Development Theory and Policy, and from University of Paris XIII, in the area of International Finance, Regulation and Economics. Before joining ISDP, Ms. Chen studied and worked in Berlin, Johannesburg and Paris. Her research interests include overseas investment behavior of Chinese enterprises, international finance regulation with a focus on the One Belt and One Road Project and South China Sea issue. At ISDP, Nuoya was affiliated with the Asia Program and the China initiative.
