ISDP and KWDI organized a conference on the role of women in peacebuilding and sustainable development

On October 10, ISDP’s Korea Center co-organized a seminar in Stockholm with the Korean Women’s Development Institute (KWDI) focused on women’s role in peacebuilding and sustainable development. Case studies included the Korean Peninsula, Northern Ireland, China, and Vietnam, among others. The main objective of the seminar was to share information, perspectives, and experiences between experts from East Asia and Europe. The seminar also sought to share specific lessons of policy development processes in line with relevant international goals and objectives as well as provide a networking platform for participating researchers and institutions. ISDP would like to thank participants from KWDI, Crisis Management Initiative, Swedish Red Cross, Helsinki University, the National Economics University in Vietnam, Ulster University, and the University of Tübingen for taking part.
